Most housing programs give you a bed and a curfew and call it done. Helios is different because we actually believe accountability saves lives. We have watched too many good men relapse not because they wanted to but because no one held them responsible when it mattered. So, we built something real.
Our transitional housing with accountability means you check in regularly, follow clear house rules and answer to men who have walked the same road. This isn’t about control. It’s about creating the structure your recovery needs to take hold and grow. We offer accountability based sober living in Spokane, WA where every expectation exists to protect your progress not punish your past.
Men’s recovery housing should feel like a launchpad not a warehouse. That’s why we pair structure with genuine support. Spokane County recovery housing has never looked like this because we have built something most places won’t. A home where someone notices when you are struggling and cares enough to step in.
If you are seeking sober living with accountability in Spokane, you just found it!
If you are ready for structure, accountability, and serious sobriety, apply today and begin rebuilding your life with purpose.
Real questions from real men considering Helios. Here’s what you need to know before you apply.
Regular sober living often just collects rent and looks the other way. At Helios, accountability means we check in daily, enforce house rules consistently and actually care whether you are showing up for yourself. Your success matters to us because our founders have been exactly where you are.
You call us immediately. That's the rule. We don't automatically discharge because relapse happens in recovery. But we do require honesty and immediate reengagement. Hide it and you are out. Own it and we figure out the next step together. Your sobriety matters more than your perfection.
Most men stay six to twelve months, but we don't rush anyone out. The goal is stability not turnover. Some guys transition sooner. Some need longer. We work with each resident individually to determine when independent living makes sense based on employment, savings and support systems in place.
Talk to us. We understand most men leaving incarceration or treatment arrive with nothing. We work with referral sources, family members and sometimes payment plans. Being broke shouldn't block your recovery. Being honest about your situation is the first step toward solving it.
Clear enough to keep everyone safe. Compassionate enough to give you room to grow. We expect breathalyzers, random UA's, meetings attended and chores completed. But we also expect second chances when you stumble and honest conversations when you are struggling. Structure without grace just becomes punishment.
Absolutely. Employment is part of rebuilding. We help with job leads, resume building, interview prep and transportation connections. Many of our residents work full time. Some even work for companies started by previous Helios graduates. Work gives purpose and purpose fuels recovery.
Yes. We work closely with DOC officers and prison counselors throughout Washington. Many of our residents arrive directly from Walla Walla, Airway Heights or other facilities. We help coordinate release; ensure house rules are understood and provide the structure needed for successful reentry.
Absolutely and we encourage it. Transparency builds trust. We welcome visits from anyone supporting your recovery including counselors, officers, family members or treatment providers. Seeing our environment firsthand helps everyone feel confident this is the right place for your next chapter.
